The Mason City Municipal Airport received a Discrepancy Free FAA Annual Inspection and was presented a Medal of Excellence by the FAA.  This marks nine years of consecutive discrepancy free inspections and is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the airport’s staff.

In addition the Airport will receive a FAA Airport Safety Enhancement Award later this fall in Kansas City.  The Safety Enhancement Award is presented to airports who receive three consecutive inspections with no discrepancies.
