Airport Manager

The City of Mason City, IA is seeking an Airport Manager to plan and administer the overall operation of the Mason City Municipal Airport. This position is responsible for a budget of $1.6 million in operating capital annually and a staff of 6 full and part time positions. The Airport Manager will report directly to the Airport Commission. The ideal candidate will possess experience as an Airport Manager, Assistant Airport Manager, or Airport Operations Supervisor; experience managing employees; and experience in budgeting and management.

Minimum requirements:  Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Management, Public Administration, or closely related field AND three years of progressively responsible airport management experience at a general aviation or commercial service airport. Starting salary is $78,000 annually plus an attractive benefit package.
