NOTICE OF DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPISE (DBE) GOAL
FEDERAL FISCAL YEARS 2022 THROUGH 2024
MASON CITY MUNICIPAL AIRPORT

The Mason City Airport Commission has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program in accordance with regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), 49 CFR Part 26. The Mason City Airport Commission has received Federal financial assistance from the Department of Transportation, and as a condition of receiving this assistance, the Mason City Airport Commission has signed an assurance that it will comply with 49 CFR Part 26 (hereafter referred to as “Part 26”).

The Airport Commission hereby announces its proposed Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal of 5.08% for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) funded contracts/agreements. The proposed goal pertains to federal fiscal years 2022 through 2024.
Number and Type of Contracts that the Airport Commission anticipates awarding:

Fiscal Year 2022
1. Decommission Wastewater Lagoon – $1,064,000
2. Construct T-Hangar – $1,532,000
3. General Aviation Terminal Improvements – $750,000

Fiscal Year 2023
1. Commercial Terminal Replacement – $13,000,000

Fiscal Year 2024
1. Rehabilitate Runway 18/36 – $3,550,000
